Room 8 Burns Bulletin Term 4 Week 2

Week One in Room 8 saw new groups introduced and a few new things into Room 8 as well. The Drum Challenge saw the Racist Rashes win some celery and the shield went to Jason the Bumble Bee.

Kia Kaha plays were finished in week one for the Kia Kaha Open Evening later on in Term Four. We will watch our classes movies later on in Week Two at some stage. Week One also saw debating introduced into the class with a general high level of interest in the game that came along with it, Park bench.

The Hawke’s Bay Show is also on this week so make sure that if you get a chance to go out and have a look at all of the wonderful things that Hawke’s Bay has to offer to it’s people.

Homework is due next Friday so make sure that you are staying on top of it and don’t forget that you can email it to Mr. Burns this term. It has been great to see some people start to do that already.

Inquiry this term will be decided upon by Room 8 so think of some ideas that you might want to put forward at our class meeting on Tuesday afternoon.

Wings: Bailley (Jason the Bumble Bee)
People’s Choice Award: Royston (The Racist Rashes).

Term four has started and Room 8 and the new groups are up and running. Specialist has started and this week we will being starting up discuss, high jump and relay running for athletics in Physical Education. This is also a shortened four day week as it is Hawke’s Bay Anniversary on Friday so make sure you get out to the show and celebrate the fact that we are living in Hawke’s Bay.
